Hello Everyone!
You can call me Aminah and I am 21 and I was raised Roman Catholic. I converted to Islam on 24 February 2013. I live in Wisconsin and I am a college senior.
I am also an Independent Consultant for Thirty-One.
This blog is my space to freely express who I am. I ask that you respect that.
Here is my post where I talk about
my first time in a mosque.
And here is the Tumblr where I am reblogging my personal posts on Islam (and the place where you can find them all a lot easier than going through all of these posts).
I am also highly allergic to three very common things: gluten, dairy, and alcohol (in all forms which sadly includes most lotions/shampoos/deodorants).
May God bless you and
grant you a beautiful day.
Hey, I'm also on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram (all as @adventuringafar)!

Adventuring Afar
Scared by the Angel’s words
yet willing to say “yes”
Knowing punishment was death
and agreeing all the same,
somehow strong with unseen grace
Journeying far away
with only one who did believe
holding an Infant Child,
God’s own Son and thine
and somehow strong with unseen grace
Returning to your homeland
life begins anew
your Son stays in the temple,
ready to begin His work
and somehow strong with unseen grace
At thirty when He left you
your spirit traveled with Him
to see His wondrous miracles
to see Him mocked and run from town
and somehow strong with unseen grace
And in the city you were there
when He was condemned to die,
there to see Him disgraced
and die a torturous death
yet somehow strong with unseen grace
And when He did arise
to leave this world for heaven,
He sent His Holy Spirit
to comfort you and be with you
and to keep you strong with unseen grace

I was inspired to write this poem when I was in Adoration the other night. I just seemed to flow from my pen as I sat before the Eucharistic Lord and asked Him for guidance.
